Lately there is just always something going on at our house...usually something that causes major caios and more stress. So for starters Brad is a very handy guy, he can fix or make just about anything around the house and he loves to do it...well he has now been banned from anything involving plumbing...yesterday was just like an episode of Home Impovement and Brad was Tim Taylor. Something very small and easy turned into something very big and very messy. It all started out with dripping outside faucets and turned into butterfly
having to sleep in our room on the floor...ladybug will be there tomorrow night, actually maybe both of them. As you can see the pipe coming in to the house between the girls room broke off and we capped it so we could turn the water back on...well it wasn't capped tight enough and this morning the new carpet in the girls rooms was very wet. So now the carpet is pulled up and the padding that was wet is torn out...and we are trying to dry it all out before the mold starts to grow. Ladybug is in her room tonight but we have a dehumidifier running in butterflys room so she is in our room, as you can see from the picture. We only have one dehumidifier so we have to go back and forth...luckily it doesn't look like the walls got wet...just a little bit of the 2x4 under the pipe...thank the Lord. And my dad just so happened to have some leftover padding from when he got his carpet installed. So there is never a dull moment in our house...
